National On-Trade Development Manager

Our client, Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) company with depots across the country, urgently need smart and resourceful individuals to join their team to drive continue success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and effectively supervise the execution of penetration strategies and retention plans in hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants, hypermarkets and supermarkets
  • Design and drive promotion plans specific to consumer needs in the On-Trade and Key Accounts
  • Evaluate the impact of promotions in the On-Trade and Key Accounts and report on ROI
  • Collate On-Trade sales data, analyse, report and make presentations to Management periodically
  • Build strategic relationships with On-Trade stakeholders
  • Coach and train all team members to ensure delivery on assigned sales target
  • Prepare and adhere to Key Accounts Managers’ annual On-Trade sales target
  • Deliver on the expected revenue for On-Trade business and Key Accounts through implementation of  strategic On-Trade business and Key Accounts sales plans and objectives
  • Prepare and achieve annual On-Trade penetration (strike) target
  • Ensure effective  and efficient use of all POS materials for On-Trade and Key Accounts
  • Prepare annual BTL marketing activity plan for the On-Trade and Key Accounts
  • Monitor and report our brand shelf presence vis-a-vis competition in the On-Trade and Key Accounts
  • Monitor and report competitive activities and proffer solutions
  • Manage Trade Fairs coverage nationwide

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess B.Sc / HND in Social Science with a minimum of 2nd Class or its equivalent. MBA is an added advantage
  • Have a minimum of 12 years of work experience in On-Trade operations in FMCG
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Have a good analytical, communication and presentations skills
  • Have strong leadership skill and high degree of integrity
