Procurement and Administrative Operation Officer

Job Summary

Procurement/Administrative Officer will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries. Main duties include managing office stock, preparing regular reports (e.g. expenses and office budgets), organizing company records, processing employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process.Also involved in handling the procurement of goods/services and manage each part of the supply chain of the company to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our administrative/procurement activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.

  • Oversees the daily activities of assigned functional area; prioritizing; completing multiple activities; resolves problems as they arise.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
  • Proactively identifies and recommends new/proposed policies and procedures as they relate to operations issues/opportunities; assists in the implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times.
  • Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information
  • Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
  • Liaise between suppliers,internal teams such as production, operators, marketing, quality control, and customers.
  • Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement
