JOB DESCRIPTION

• Consolidating and analyzing financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing;
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
• Assuring appropriate payment for the employees (Payroll)
• Compute taxes payable and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax / statutory requirements;
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice;
• Reporting to management regarding the finances of the Company;
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts;
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner; as required, make calls to the bank directly to clarify adjustments or to clarify items on the bank statements in order to reconcile activity or properly code it; liaise with auditors to confirm bank balances as of a certain date
• Prepare Monthly, Quarter and Annual financial report

Requirements: Our Ideal candidates should:

• BSc. in Accounting
• Member of a relevant professional body.
• Must have excellent accounting and financial management track record.
• Must have experience at a middle management level including in reporting across diverse service delivery environments;
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Must possess adequate experience in the use of MS Office, and accounting software- SAGE Cloud
