How much is CBAP exam?

The CBAP exam fee is $325 USD for IIBA members and $450 USD for non-members. There is also a $125 non-refundable application fee.

How do I take CBAP exam?

The CBAP exam, including other IIBA certification exams are now available via online proctor. With this option, you can book for and take the exam from the comfort of your home or office. Test centre option is also still available.

How do I get CBAP certified?

Experience: You must have a minimum of 7,500 hours of Business Analysis Work experience (in the last 10 years). Within this experience, a minimum of 900 hours must have been completed in 4 of the 6 BABOK Guide Knowledge Areas.

How long is CBAP certification valid?

CBAP certification has a validity period of 3 years and it needs to be renewed. This is to encourage the ongoing professional development of recipients, ensuring that business analysis professionals are keeping up with changes in the profession.

Does the course fee include business analysis exam fee as well?

Our Business Analysis CBAP Course fee does not include the professional exam fee except it is stated.

Does CBAP expire?

Your CBAP certificate is valid for 3 years. To maintain your CBAP certificate and renew it for another 3 years, you must earn a minimum of 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) every three years from your date of certification.

What is CBAP passing score?

IIBA doesn’t provide the specific passing score the CBAP certification. However, one must aim at scoring 75% minimum in all the knowledge areas and overall while preparing for the exam.

What is the difference between CCBA and CBAP?

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) recognizes seasoned Business Analysis professionals who have over five years of practical business analysis work experience. It requires 7,500 hours of Business Analysis Work experience in the last 10 years.

Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) recognizes skilled Business Analysis professionals who have two to three years of practical business analysis work experience. It requires 3,750 hours of Business Analysis work experience in the last 7 years.

How much does ECBA cost?

Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA™) exam fee is $110 USD for IIBA members and $235 USD for non-members. There is also a $60 non-refundable application fee

    The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) offers the CCBA/CBAP certifications to those with at least five years of professional experience in the field of business analysis. Business Analysis Training is an intensive preparatory course for individuals who have completed the introduction to business analysis course and who wish to advance  getting either the CCBA/CBAP certifications. Through practical exam hontoints/tips and a detailed review of the BABOK, individuals will be coached on how to prepare for the certification exams. A simulated exam will take place on the last day.
